Lakshwadeep Island
Lakshwadeep Island is the smallest union territory of India. Previously the land was also known as Laccadive Islands. The islands of Lakshwadeep is famous and attracts tourists all over the globe due to its sun-kissed golden sea beaches and lush greenery that indeed makes the place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. The history of the land depicts that there were many tribals thriving in the land like Malmis, Koyas, Aminidivi, and Malcheris. But at present one will not find these tribes. The island showcases some unique and beautiful art forms. The most crucial among them are coconut shells and tortoiseshell crafting, seashell crafting, wood carving, and much more.
