Chattisgarh
Chattisgarh is a newly formed state that came into being in the year 2000. The state was formed ten Chhattisgarhi and six Gondi speaking districts of Madhya Pradesh. Chattisgarh is the tenth largest state in the country and is also a populated one. The meaning of the name “Chattisgarh” means “thirty-six forts” and in true sense, the state has got thirty six forts of feudal territories. The state is also rich in minerals.
